What's up dog?

Douglas is an amazing dog, he is so loyal and smart. He has impacted our family by getting us outside more, teaching our kids responsibility. I'm teaching him to pull me on a longboard, he loves going down to the river to swim with us. He always goes out cow moving with us. As our kids are homeschooled he is a great dog to read to. Having a Douglas has taught us all to be patient and calm but to also have fun rolling around on the grass and being outside in nature. Whenever my daughter Giselle is feeling down a cuddle from Douglas always makes her feel better. Once we put Douglas on the back of the Ute as we were driving on the farm, then all of a sudden we heard banging on the roof so we stopped quickly and Douglas had jumped on the roof of the Ute!! Dogs are such amazing creatures they are definitely mans best friend.

This year, we wanted to give the aroha back to our communities.


Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Aotearoa, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.


This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.


In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
